Claude Code
Add the Avvyr MCP servers to Claude Code from the command line
Docs server
claude mcp add --transport http avvyr-docs https://mcp.avvyr.com/docs/mcp
API server
claude mcp add --transport http avvyr https://mcp.avvyr.com/mcp
Then run /mcp in Claude Code, pick avvyr and choose to authenticate. The Avvyr sign-in opens in your browser: pick the store and approve what Claude Code may do.
For a server that can only read, use https://mcp.avvyr.com/mcp?read-only=true.
With an API key
For CI or other places where nobody can sign in, send an API key instead:
claude mcp add --transport http avvyr https://mcp.avvyr.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $AVVYR_API_KEY"
Scope
claude mcp add adds the server for you in the current project. Add --scope user to have it in every project, or --scope project to write it to .mcp.json in the repository so your team gets it too. Do not put API keys in .mcp.json; with OAuth, each person signs in themselves.
